Oct 7th 2009 02:17 pm How Much Can I Person Handle?

You always feel like you just the weight of the world on your shoulders? It is Eminem’s song called "Toy Soldiers", I understand that not most religious people favorite artist. For purposes of this article, I do not care. The song begins with the words "im supposed to be the soldier who never blows his composure. Even if I have the whole weight of the world on my shoulders." I used to listen to this song before every basketball game . Thats exactly how I feel before every game I would play. I think often we wake up every day with the same mindset. That attempt to play the game of life with the cards Ive been treated mindset .

It’s funny to me when we think about our difficulties in life and all the pressure we put on ourselves. So many times we watch and say, man I just do not think I can handle this. I know for me personally, I’ve been in some very dark places and felt like there was no chance that I can never get these things done. When we turn to Paul to the Corinthians we can certainly learn a lot. Paul was you average guy who just happened to love the Lord with every inch of his being. In the book of Corinthians Paul gives God an actual physical chore just to say "watch this". Paul was handling everything with such passion and love for Christ that would have been easy for him to get that big head. So God made him look different, so he can return to its proper size and say "hey, this is my thing. Thanks for the help, but I had this."
Sometimes I think we try so hard to push the weight of the world that we forget who is in charge. We forget that it does not really matter if we take care of something or not. Because God is going to do what they want with it anyway. So why not do your best and let God do the rest. Ive head, he said: "In the life of people trip, most people fall. And some of it into a beautiful dance. Now, think for a moment. God will take care of us anyway. We insist on the small things, but what about when Jesus was actually the weight of the world on his shoulders. In the form of a cross. Do we really have it bad?
