Oct 14th 2009 Regarding Peace

When my son was three or four years, he asked me what peace was. I remember the day distinctly because it was one of those questions like why do we die? or why some people suffer? which leaves you uncomfortable, leave you feeling that there is no one answer that can adequately summarize the reasons for these things.
I remember looking to the sky for inspiration. I often look at the sky at such moments. It usually does not let me down, but that day he looked at me with her always smiling like a blue curtain spring freshly washed and I could see no answers in its immensity.

Oct 10th 2009 Listening to the Rain

I can not tell you where I stand politically. In general, I say I’m conservative, but it’s a bit like how I say Auburn is my football team of choice-I have no idea what I mean. I do not watch TV I do not read this in the newspapers, and when people begin to discuss why their bitter side is good or bad, my eyes glaze over. However, when news gets to me that my team has won a victory or another, I smile, NOD, raised a fist, saying: "Come on guys!"

Oct 7th 2009 How Much Can I Person Handle?

You always feel like you just the weight of the world on your shoulders? It is Eminem’s song called "Toy Soldiers", I understand that not most religious people favorite artist. For purposes of this article, I do not care. The song begins with the words "im supposed to be the soldier who never blows his composure. Even if I have the whole weight of the world on my shoulders." I used to listen to this song before every basketball game . Thats exactly how I feel before every game I would play. I think often we wake up every day with the same mindset. That attempt to play the game of life with the cards Ive been treated mindset .

Oct 5th 2009 Human Nature

Human nature can be described as the attributes and characteristics that all humans possess, from a mechanical and physical because it is a solid definition of human nature. The mechanical and physical aspects may vary from one individual to another based on defects or injuries, but for the most part, we have both legs to walk, a pair of eyes to see, and one set of hands to feel. So human nature of this position is a condition attached, but of course, to some extent.

Oct 3rd 2009 Too Many Choices

I am lost.
Not spiritually, of course. I am sure (and stored out of my mind) I’m going to heaven. I hope you go with me. If not, we’ll do something, ok?
Back on topic …
I am lost.
Recently, I was finding myself trapped in confusion not knowing what to order at Starbucks. At one time in my life, the process of ordering at Starbucks was automatic. "What can I start for you?" The barista kind arise. "Grande Caramel Frappuccino without whipped cream and extra caramel please", I would quickly respond with a boyish smile.
Recently, this has changed everything. Somewhere along the way, my Starbucks drink quickly became too sweet. It was a good race while it lasted, but it became clear that the time is ripe for a Starbucks beverage of choice change.
However, I have no idea where to start.
1. I do not understand more than half of the Starbucks menu. I am not fluent in the lingo of Starbucks. I am not sure of the difference between a cappuccino, espresso or latte. I have no idea what is chai. Order plans makes me think that I am a sinner. The menu often looks like this to me …
2. I am not a hardcore drink straight black coffee kind of Guy. I like the (as my dad likes to call them …) "froo froo" drinks. When I go to Starbucks, I almost want a liquid dessert.
I need your help.
I am having a crisis of Starbucks.
What is your favorite Starbucks drink? Is there a drink you recommend while I’m at this stage exploring Starbucks?
