Sep 30th 2009 Getting The Help You Need

I am helping people with their struggles and it has been a high priority. A simple checklist will help you keep on top of things. When it comes down to brass tacks, consider this: Nothing else compares to the power of addiction. Relief is the natural outcome of holding what you see with acceptance and compassion. That one needs a severe re-evaluation. The key is ‘Help’.

Sep 30th 2009 A Few Tidbits

I read a book called "God laughed and Play, sermons churchless in response to the sermons of the fundamentalist right. I mentioned David James Duncan a few times here, if you’re not reading you miss a modern day, a great American writer. The best? Yes but in my limited scope of reading. Makes me want to write something here about God, David Bazan, ecology, concerned and loving parent, honesty … believe it or not they are all related. It’s coming.

Sep 24th 2009 Ask Not What You Can Do For Yourself

My wife has been busy doing what she loves, which is helping others who are poor. People form habits and react to circumstances and stimuli in their daily living according to those set patterns of behavior. Some of us don’t know how to add up our good fortune, but only know how to subtract the difficult situations in our daily lives, which gives us a feeling of a negative balance in our life. We will need to work within this environment. I have shed some new light on this whole business. So what?  My idea is based around my assumption that some people dig inspirational quotes. This is why you want Y because you are in X and Y is the next stage of your growth.

After 3 weeks, you will be breathing anew on your own as if you were a born again and just released from the hospital. Let’s go with the flow. My wife used to love to cook and garden, but now she enjoys doing it more for others. This must not be avoided at all costs. This is the one specific thing you may be missing. The thing is there is a cause and effect relationship in this world.

This is what it takes to use it. If there is anyone of these areas that seem to be running away from you then it is important to ask yourself the question:  "Have you ever sat down and wrote out in detail exactly what you want in that given area?"  When you know just what you want, then sit down and brainstorm on questions of How to get there. So it is important to know that resistance is actually an important part of your changing into Y.

A strong rock can withstand any blow, any wave crashing against it. And sure enough, it gets better.

Sep 19th 2009 Finding Your Happiness Formula

What would happened if before things got really tough your wife started her own home care business?  Do something on your end if you can to help out. No two people are alike, after all but it’s a genuine commitment. Worked smart together, not hard. Research shows that when people work less or take longer vacations they tend to be happier than people who consume more or make more money. To accept this means to acknowledge, to admit, to see. This is the marriage happiness formula.
